Senior Developer

vcita is looking for its next Senior Software Developer to join our dev team! Are you experienced with designing and building distributed systems? Do you enjoy being an integral part of product development? Then it’s you we’re looking for!

As our Senior Software Developer you’ll use various coding languages and best practices to solve problems and develop production-ready web applications and APIs. You’ll create perfected UI designs based on product & design specs and have a direct hand in influencing a solution that makes an impact on small businesses.

Hybrid model, location. 

• Master the entire software development life cycle including: top level and detailed designs, implementation of code, automatic tests and monitoring tools
•  Master your squad technical domain and have a deep knowledge your squad code
• Have excellent technical skills and keep up to date with industry trends and new technologies
• Guide your squad members, improve their technical skills, code review and mentor
• Work in partnership with the squad leader, leads things together, self manage your own projects
•  Proactively identify & troubleshoot production stability and performance issues. Be a member of the production on-call duty

• At least 7 years of experience with developing production-ready web applications and APIs
• An ability to plan and create pixel-perfect UI according to product & design specs
• Well-versed in coding best practices, agile methodologies, CI/CD, testing
• Passion for learning and implementing new technologies
• Independent, fast learner, creative, great communication skills
• Experience in developing hybrid / native mobile apps – advantage
• Experience in Node.js, Vue.js, Ruby, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, hybrid/ native mobile apps – advantage
• BSc in computer science / elite army unit graduate - advantage
